How to make a Perspective Shadow

I'm going to show you how to add a perspective shadow to text and to a tube.

The attached file contains the following files...
CLOWNBEAR.PSP
Benguiab.ttf

Download and unzip to any file. Open Explorer and find the files you unzipped and click on the .ttf file and go to EDIT>CUT, then double click your Windows folder, double click your Fonts folder and go to EDIT>PASTE. Open PSP, open the clownbear now you can either export it as a tube by going to FILE>EXPORT>PICTURE TUBE, when the box comes up click in the box that says Tube Name: and type in a name I named mine clownbear.

Go to FILE>NEW and use these settings...
Width: 400
Height: 200
Transparent Background
Click Ok.

Click the text tool , click the center of your transparent pic and select a font I'm using Benguiat Bk BT, Bold, size 36, make sure Floating IS checked, click Ok. Move the text to the left side. Go to EDIT>COPY, EDIT>PASTE>AS NEW LAYER, line the text up with the other text. Select none by either going to SELECTIONS>SELECT NONE or holding down the Ctrl button on your keyboard and pressing the D. If your Layer Palette isn't up bring it up by clicking the toggle layer palette button . It should read from top to bottom Layer2, Layer1. Click on Layer1. Click the selection tool and draw a rectangle around the text and single click inside the rectangle. Click your foreground color (top box) and select Black. Click the flood fill tool , on your control palette where it says Fill Style select Solid and click inside the text to flood fill it black. Click the Deformation tool this will put a box with little boxes around your text like this...

If you place your mouse on the top middle box it will become an up and down arrow but we don't want to go up and down so on your keyboard hold down the Ctrl button and place your mouse over the top middle box again now it becomes an arrow going right to left. Now I want my shadow to be on the right side so while holding down the Ctrl button I'll click on the top middle box and holding down the mouse button move it to the right, like this....

Now click on any other tool and a box will come up that says Apply Deformation? click Yes. Select none by either going to SELECTIONS>SELECT NONE or holding down the Ctrl button on your keyboard and pressing the D. Go to IMAGE>BLUR>SOFTEN MORE 2 times. Go to LAYERS>MERGE>MERGE VISIBLE. Go to EDIT>CUT, EDIT>PASTE>AS NEW IMAGE and save it and mine looks like this...

Go to FILE>NEW and use these settings...
Width: 400
Height: 300
Transparent Background

Click Ok. Click the tube tool and on the control palette select the clownbear, scale: 55 and click in the left side of the pic. Go to EDIT>COPY, EDIT>PASTE>AS NEW LAYER. On the layer palette click on Layer1. Click the selection tool and draw a rectangle around the bear and single click inside the rectangle. Set your foreground color (top box) to black. Click the airbrush and spray the bear black. Click the deformation tool, hold down the Ctrl button and click on the top middle box and holding down the mouse button move it to the right, like this....

Now click on any other tool and a box will come up that says Apply Deformation? click Yes. Click the deformation tool again. This time click the top right button and move it down like this...

Now click on the middle right box and move it to the left a little like this...

Now click on any other tool and a box will come up that says Apply Deformation? click Yes. Go to IMAGE>BLUR>SOFTEN MORE 2 times. Go to LAYERS>MERGE>MERGE VISIBLE. Go to EDIT>CUT, EDIT>PASTE>AS NEW IMAGE and save it and mine looks like this...
