Text Effects: 3D Metal
The attached file contains

FILTER
FACTORY GALLERY A>POOL SHADOW
Download and unzip to any file. Open Explorer and find the files you
unzipped and click on the .ttf file and go to EDIT>CUT, then double
click your Windows folder, double click your Fonts folder and go to
EDIT>PASTE. Now go back to where you unzipped the files to and click on
the plugin file you downloaded and go to EDIT>CUT, then double click
Program files, double click PSP, double click plugins and go to
EDIT>PASTE.
Go to FILE>NEW and use these settings...
Width: 400
Height: 200
White Background
Click the foreground color (top box) to gray brown using these settings...
Red: 87
Green: 79
Blue: 43
Like this...

Click the text tool and click in the center of your white pic. Select a
font. I'm using the MisterEarl BT, Bold, size 72, make sure Floating
IS checked. Select none by either going to SELECTIONS>SELECT NONE or
holding down the Ctrl button on your keyboard and pressing the D. Now we
want to make a copy of this go to WINDOW>DUPLICATE or press and hold
the Shift key on your keyboard and press the D. Now shrink the copy and go
to EDIT>UNDO SELECT NONE. Go to IMAGE>PLUGIN-FILTERS>FILTER
FACTORY GALLERY A>POOL SHADOW when the box comes up just use these
settings...
Control 1: 151 Control
2: 208 Control 3: 118 Control
4: 146 Control 5: 79 Control
6: 192 Shadow Intensity: 131 Brightness:
147
Click Ok. Go to EDIT>COPY, EDIT>PASTE>AS TRANSPARENT SELECTION
place this text a little down and to the right like this...

Do this four more times each time moving the text a little down and to the
right, here's mine...

Now we need to work on the copy we made so unshrink it. Click the magic
wand
and click on the first letter, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard
and click on all the other letters. Click the foreground color box (top
box) and let's set the color to orange using these settings...
Red: 252
Green: 180
Blue: 46
Click Ok. Click the flood fill tool, set your control palette like this...
Fill Style: Solid
Match Mode: None
Tolerance: 70
Opacity: 100
Now flood fill your text. Go to IMAGE>PLUGIN-FILTERS>FILTER FACTORY
GALLERY A>POOL SHADOW when the box comes up just use the same settings
as before. Go to EDIT>COPY close that pic, when it asks if you want to
save it just click No. Let's click on the first pic to select it and go to
EDIT>PASTE>AS TRANSPARENT SELECTION place this text a little down
and to the right. Now we can save it and mine looks like this...
