Text Effects - Neon Outlined Text

The DOWNLOAD file contains the following file...

font1.ttf

Download and unzip to your Windows>Fonts folder.

Go to FILE>NEW use these settings...

Width: 400

Height: 200

Black Background

Select White as your foreground color (top box) and your background color (bottom box), click the text tool and select the Background Font 2, Bold, Size 48, make sure Floating is checked and click ok. Go to SELECTIONS>SELECT NONE. Go to IMAGE>BLUR>BLUR MORE. Go to COLORS>SOLARIZE set the Threshold to 150, click ok. Now it looks like this...

Now let's add some color by going to COLORS>COLORIZE and again just play with the settings until you get the color you like. Here's the settings I used...

Hue: 38

Saturation: 255
