Text Effects - Splatter Text

Needed also is Filter Factory G (Blast'EM)

.Download and unzip to your PSP>Plugins folder.

Open a new file

Width: 300

Height: 200

Transparent background

You want a darker color for your background than your foreground. I picked light blue for my foreground color and a darker blue for my background color.....

Click the text tool, click on the pic and pick a font.

I picked Arial Black, Bold, size 28, check Floating. Make sure your text is centered and go to SELECTIONS>SELECT NONE. Go to IMAGE>PLUG-IN FILTERS>FILTER FACTORY GALLERY G>BLAST 'EM

use these settings...

Diffusion: 35

Lighten/Normal/Darken: 18

Click ok. Now it looks like this...

Notice how you can see the light blue a little.

Click the text tool and place the same text on the light blue like this...

Click the selection tool and draw a rectangle around it and single click inside the rectangel.

Now add a drop shadow by going to IMAGE>EFFECTS>DROP SHADOW and use these settings...

Color: Black

Opacity: 100

Blur: 6.9

Vertical: 1

Horizontal: 1

Click ok. Go to EDIT>CUT, EDIT>PASTE>AS NEW IMAGE

I saved it as a .jpg and it looks like this...
