Go to FILE>NEW with the following settings...

Width: 250

Height: 100

Background Color: White

Click ok. Click the background color box and pick white. Click the foreground color box and pick a color for your font. I picked light blue. Click your text tool and pick a font. I picked Futura XBlk BT font, Bold, size 28. Click ok. Go to SELECTIONS>SELECT NONE. Click the top box and pick white. Go to IMAGE>OTHER>HOT WAX COATING. Now it looks like this...

Ok, that worked but what if you want your outline to be a color other than black. I want mine to be a dark blue. So this is how we do it.

Go to FILE>NEW with the following settings...

Width: 250

Height: 100

Background Color: White

Click ok. Click the background color box and pick white. Click the foreground color box and pick a color for your font. I picked a dark blue. Click your text tool and pick a font. I picked Futura XBlk BT font, Bold, size 28. Click ok. Save the selection by going to SELECTIONS>SAVE TO DISK, type in a name and where it says SAVE AS TYPE make sure beside it says PSP Selection (*.Sel) click Save. Go to SELECTIONS>MODIFY>FEATHER by 8 pixels

Click ok. Click the flood fill tool and flood inside the dotted line. I did mine 6 times. Go to SELECTIONS>LOAD FROM DISK and pick the one you just saved, click open. Click the flood fill tool. Click the foreground color box and pick a darker color. I picked light blue. Now flood fill each letter. Now it looks like this...

If you want a sharper edge. Before you Load from disk. Go to IMAGE>SHARPEN>SHARPEN MORE. Now load and do all the rest and it looks like this...

Well, that's it for today. If you have any questions just ask...
