Text effects - 3D Text

Open PSP
Go to FILE>NEW with the following settings...
Width: 250
Height: 100
Background Color: White
Click ok
Click the foreground color box and pick a color a
little darker than you want your text to be. I picked Hot pink. Click
the background color box and pick a color alittle lighter than your top
color. I picked light purple. Click your text tool  and
pick a font. I picked Adlib BT font, Bold, size 24. Go to
SELECTIONS>MODIFY>FEATHER by 2 pixels.
Click ok. Hit the delete key on your keyboard. Go to
IMAGE>OTHER>HOT WAX COATING. Hit the delete key again. Click the
arrow beside your color boxes to switch the colors. Go to
IMAGE>EFFECTS>DROP SHADOW and use the following settings...
Color: Background
Opacity: 255
Blur: 0
Vertical: -2
Horizontal: -2
Click ok. Now it looks like this...
