Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you waken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry...
I am not there....
I did not die.
So how do you begin to describe Todd Rice? Just on sight, he was beautiful. His picture above shows that perfectly. His personality? Todd had his heart showing in his eyes 24 hours a day. He was so proud of the things that he had accomplished, and was still achieving in life, but he never spoke of them in an arrogant way. Todd was many things, and modest was one of them. Todd loved his family.. His father, Don, especially. He spoke of his family with nothing but pride and extreme love. I don't think there was a person around that could meet Todd and not fall in love with him in less than a second. Despite guarding his feelings, Todd knew no strangers. He loved to go to the extreme.. Try new things. Above all, Todd was a dare devil. He loved sky diving. He was also an accomplished pilot. His passion was flying, but still, Todd had achieved so much in his life, it would be impossible to fit it all on one page. He was very motivated, and very determined. He'd been to so many places and done so many things that most of us would be jealous of. His passing on at only 33 years of age was not only an extreme shock, but an extreme tragedy because he had so much love and kindness to give. His smile was not only beautiful, but contagious. He left behind a number of people who love and miss him immensely. The link below is for friends and family to submit their memories of Todd.
