Fifties
Well the fifties were the greatest - oh, do I have memories from those good ole days. There was Highschool with bobbie socks, pony tails, poodle skirts, penny loafers, and who could ever forget the hula hoops.
I remember watching American Bandstand on our new TV. One of the first ones in Lone Wolf. We watched Howdy Doody and The Mickey Mouse Club and Daddy's favorite Gunsmoke.
Cheeseburgers were 25 cents and oh how wonderful did that fountain coke taste from Walkers Drug. If you lived in those days then you surely remember.
How could I ever forget draggin main street in Sandy's Dads Rambler. Boy, did we put the miles on that car. Then lets not forget the sock hop dances at the City Hall (Let's Twist Again Like We Did Last Summer) chocolate dip cones from the Dairy Boy and Football and Basketball games." GO COYOTES"
Yes in this fast paced world we live in nowdays I find myself thinking back often on the good ole days. Oh to live in the 50's again. Could we live with out our cell phone and computers, our busy schedules. Well I will tell you I sure could!!!!!
