Hey everyone! I'm Laura and welcome to my Stroke9 site. Stroke9 is my favorite band. I love their lyrics, music, style, ooooh what I'm I saying.... I just LUV THEM! I hope you enjoy your stay here. Luke Esterkyn: vocals + guitar.
Eric Stock: drums + percussion.
John McDermott: guitar + background vocals.
Greg Guelder: bass
My favorite song on the Nasty Little Thoughts album would have to be: Down I love Greg's bass work on this song! Trust me, once you hear it, it will be in your head all day. I also loooooove Tear Me In Two. Actually, I love all the songs and my favorites usually change day to day.
Meeting the band. I've actually had the pleasure of meeting them twice. Both times in Huntsville, Alabama at the VBCC. The first time, they were with Smash Mouth. I went to see Stroke9 of course. Then I only knew Little Black Backpack. When they got through performing, a friend and I went walking around outside. We saw a group of girls yelling soooooooo of course we went over. That's when I met them. I didn't even know their names at the time. The were very nice and just cutie pies. Luke and John signed my Stroke9 shirt I had previously bought. You can see it on the picture page. The second time I met them, they were with Sister Hazel and Dexter Freebish. I actually won backstage passes there at the show. They all autographed a picture that we were given. You can also check it out on the picture page. For anyone who hasn't met them yet.. your in for a treat. Good luck to you if you haven't. One other thing...Request Stroke9 on your local radio station! and naturally Go buy their CD!
