This is an ad that we found in an
antique shop and have hanging on our wall. We
don't know what magazine it was in, but there
is a Goodyear ad on the other side advertising 1954
tires.
And that's not the Surgeon General's
warning in the lower right box. It actually
says this:
If you're in the dark about
cigarette claims, today is the day to turn to
Old Golds and take comfort in this fact:
Ever since 1760 the makers
of Old Golds have provided millions and millions of
people with the carefree pleasure of fine and
friendly tobaccos - that's almost 200 years of
honest and respected tobacco craftsmanship!
In both king size and
regular . . . Old Gold is a name you can trust . . .
a treat you can trust.
Here's an ad from Macy's in 1990.
I like the hair treatment.
