We have one more show this break, on January 8th, LIFEBOY and CHARACTER (featuring members of Lifeboy and Esposito). Guess where? THE END, on Ellison Place across from Exit/In. Should start around 9. Be there. In other news, thanks to the Scene for picking our record in their local music year-in-review:

"Lifeboy, In the Reverb of the Sounds We Made Together: Battered and bruised by a rough affair with a major label, this magnificent power trio rebounded this year with a self-released record that made good on the promise that got them courted in the first place. Linking light-headed power pop with noisy guitar rock and the occasional excursion into dreamland, Lifeboy did what great rock bands are supposed to do--make music that sounds at once timeless and new. All the sadder, then, that their fine LP may be a farewell to music-making, at least in this configuration."

HOME [12/20/01]
First off, we're really really sorry we haven't updated this in a while. I've been crammed with work these past few weeks. To the people who keep checking in every day, all apologies and on to the good cheer in this wonderful holiday at home.

We had a wonderful show tonight with I-40 (thanks boys for drawing a triumphant crowd) and the debut of My Tyger, who played an excellent set. Thanks to all of our friends who came out, as well as those who joined us for our two Superchunk shows. So here's how tonight went, with an all-star tribute that was particularly energetic.
