Brethren:
It is with the utmost gratitude that I have the honor to serve as the Master of Okolona Lodge 853, Free and Accepted Masons, for the year 2008.
The year 2008 will present our Lodge with many new challenges that will be both difficult and enjoyable. I would like to bring some of these to your attention:
- We will continue to discuss plans for the building of a new Lodge Hall and will monitor the Commonwealth of Kentucky's timetable to better determine a start date for construction.
- We must make every effort possible to improve attendance at our Lodge meetings. I would like to ask every member to attend at least one meeting this year.
- We must live Masonry every day so that other good men will want to become Freemasons. Let us each show the world what Masons have done and what we continue to stand for.
- Let us each remember what the Supreme Architect of the Universe means to us and to our Fraternity.
Finally, brethren, be ye all of one mind, live in peace, and may the God of love and peace delight to dwell with and bless you.
