“THE NORWEGIAN CEMETERY”
NORWAY, ILLINOIS
I
think, we all hope our loved ones are never forgotten for their time spent in
this Earth age but as time goes on,
years
and even centuries, it surely is the Genealogists that do indeed keep their
memory alive!
My
fascination is not the grave, for the soul is with our Creator, GOD Almighty.
As
I stand in front of the headstone and read, I wonder, “ what did they looked
like, what kind of life had they led?
They
were the founders, the builders, and inventers long before we got here. Are
there any loved ones searching to find them?
Searching
to connect the missing links in their true bloodlines?”
I
am also amazed at the artistic detail carved into the old stone as these date
back to the early 1800’s!
Most
of all, maybe I can provide the link between someone and their long lost loved
ones.
I
hope you enjoy the photo’s, more so, I hope you find your loved one from the
past.
“Helping to bring families together” Blessings on your journey, Jeanne

Below,
many are tipping as time has worn away the sturdiness. Nonetheless, this adds to the wonderful history of this special well-kept Cemetery.
