I've cleared off the previous introduction/about us section as it was already inaccurate (after being a decade old!) but now it seems quite difficult to write an accurate about us page by myself too because this is really an effort contributed to by so many people. Some, unfortunately, with whom I've already lost touch with. Some fortunately I still keep in contact with but have gone on to have very different interests.
