of the common problems are that when hamsters fall sick, the vets in
Singapore are not knowledgeable enough to provide the right cure for
the sick hamsters. Most of the time, it is a matter of trial and error.
Some may also
find the cost of bringing hamsters to the vet an expensive affair.
I'm most concerned about inadequate veterinary interest and experience, the lack of good nutrition and medical information, and the dangerous products marketed to an ignorant public who rarely researches their pets' health and safety independently. I'm also very concerend about diabetes in Campbells, glaucoma in winter whites, and polyoma virus in Syrians -- and the irresponsible breeders who are unleashing these diseases on future generations.
