It had been a long time,
and I was ready to see this wonderful baby God had given to me.
The first thing I did was count fingers and toes
as your Dad smiled and said,
"look he's got my nose."
But, oh we all gasped,
he's got big blue eyes.
They will change, we were told
but to our great surprise
They never did,
they were blue for life!
They came from your granddads because,
they both had blue...
and Tony they both were so proud of you!!
