    HOT MILK CAKE

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup can milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon almond flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla Put margarine, water, milk in pan and heat to soft boil. Beat eggs until thick and light. Add sugar and beat til blended and thick. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well with spoon (this will be very thick) add hot milk mixture and stir carefully til all blended and smooth. Add vanilla and almond flavoring. Stir til blended in.
    Bake in tube pan at 350 degrees for approximately 30 to 35 minutes. or until done. Enjoy.
