Conception Bay South is located on
the shores of Conception Bay and a short 20 kilometers from St. John's. It is
the province's fastest growing town and offers quiet residential areas, indoor
and outdoor recreation facilities, shopping, scenic 
views and many business opportunities for entreperneurs. A varied
coastline offers spectacular views of Kelly's Island, Little Bell Island, and
Bell Island. Conception Bay is popular choice for divers and sailors, many form
the town's Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club. The town has two modern and
well-equipped high schools, two junior high schools, and six primary/elementary
schools. The College of the North Atlantic's Seal Cove Campus is the College's
petroleum training center, offering entry level and continuing education
programs for the companies involved in the province's offshore petroleum
industry.
