~*DUSTY*~
This right here is Say10 himself…Just kiddin’. This is my lid’l Angel. One night around 10pm my aunts next door neighbor called and said a box of kittens was left in front of her house could I come up and check it out. I walked up the road to her house and saw all the kittens. They were all very cute cats, however this tiny little spot was sitting on a railroad tie across the bridge, I went over and sat down and it came to me. I picked up this tiny little thing and took him home with me. The minute I arrived I had to talk to Sarah online, she’s the only one who knew anything about cats. I’m allergic so I’ve never had one around very long. That night he went to sleep on a pillow next to me and never made a sound. I took him to the vet to realize he was only about 3 weeks old. During the time I was weaning him, I tried to give him away. Over time I grew to fond of him. He went everywhere with me…outdoor concerts, camp outs, hotel stays, even went and saw RushHour2 in the theater. He stays at home now that he’s bigger and controls the house. If you walk in he’ll run in and climb all the way up your body and sit on your shoulder. Except if Colin’s around then he acts like he’s an Angel. ;o) It took me over 6 weeks to name this kitten, and I decided on the name Dusty. We have this large dustpan in our kitchen and he will sit in it and as the dogs come inside he reaches out and paws at them all one by one. He’s not afraid of them either and plays with them all even when they chase after him. He’s man of the house and a real sweetheart. I always say that for a stray cat he has some of the best markings ever. Oh and sometimes I can swear he’s on crack.
Hush lid'l Baby....
Awwe...Doesn't he look like an Angel when he sleeps. This is Dusty about 5 days after I found him, sleepin' on my lap at an out door concert all curled up in a towel.
Just Loungin'
For some reason he seems to find this little corner between my mother's dolls as the perfect plcae to slide in and sleep. My mother usually has a vase there, but he just pushes it off the shelf, never breaking it. Yet makes room for himself.
On Top of the World...
Here's "Say10!!" He'll run up the steps, come in my room, climb up the back of my computer chair, and lay there 'til I give him attention. He'll paw at my head or climb down my shoulder and start biting on my hands while I try to type. He craves attention, and knows I'll be the one to respond. No matter what the hour is.
