CHOCOLATE CRESCENT COOKIES


Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup salted butter
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp.vannila extract
1 egg
1/2 to 1 cup powdered sugar
makes about 30 cookies

DIRECTIONS
(1) Preheat oven to 325 degrees

(2) In small bowl combine flour and cocoa powder.Mix well with wire whisk, set aside.

(3) In medium bowl, cream butter, white sugar,with mixer on medium speed. Add in vannila and egg,beat until light and smooth, add in flour and cocoa mixture,blend on low speed, until fully blended in,the dough will be dry and crumbly.

(4) Shape a tablespoon of dough into a 3 1/2 inch log, slightly bend the log to form a crescent shape. Place on ungreased baking sheets, 1-inch apart, bake 15-17 min. or until the outside of cookie is hard, but the center remains soft.

(5) Cool on pan 2-3 min. then transfer to flat surface to cool abit, while still warm, roll cookies in powdered sugar until coated.
