Theatre: West End debut at the Theatre Royal, Drury
Lane in 42nd Street where she spent two years starring
as Peggy Sawyer. Further West End credits include
Demeter in Cats, where she also understudied and played Grizabella, RNT's production of Carousel
(Shaftesbury Theatre), Which Witch? (Piccadilly
Theatre), Hey, Mr Producer! (Lyceum Theatre) and
Gillian Lynne's new production of Dick Whittington at
Sadler's Wells.
Other theatre: work includes Pitti Sing in Opera Della
Luna's production of The Mikado (UK tour), the leading
role of Charlotte in the restoration comedy The
Contrast (Cochran Theatre), Estella in Great
Expectations (UK tour), Side by Side by Sondheim
(Prince Regent, Farnborough), Rumpleteazer in Cats
(original UK tour), Kitty Brown in The Girlfriend
(Mercury, Colchester and UK tour), Godspell (Barbican
Centre), concert tour with Sacha Distel and Rosemarie
Ford in Golden Songs of the Silver Screen, Alice in
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Theatre Royal, York)
and West Side Story (Nottingham Playhouse). Barbara
has also appeared in pantomime playing Principle Girl
at York and Leatherhead.
