James Barron

TRAINING:  The Drama Centre, London. 

THEATRE:  Credits include The Bed Before Yesterday (Mill at Sonning),
The London Merchant (Fringe/Finborough Arms), Widowers Houses (Theatre Museum,
Covent Garden), Richard Lionheart in The Lion in Winter (Haymarket,
Basingstoke), Lord Byron in Haunted (Theatre Royal, Windsor), Ivor Novello's
King's Rhapsody (tour), South Pacific, with Gemma Craven, understudying and
playing Lt. Cable (West End), Kiss me, Kate (RSC/Plymouth production),
The Pirates of Penzance with Paul Nicholas(Broadway version), Galaxy of Song
(Torquay and Blackpool), Francesco in Leonardo (the Old Fire Station, Oxford/the
Strand Theatre, London). He has appeared in pantomime, usually as the villain, for
many years. Also Jack in Review, Grantaire, Combefere and Javert in Les Misérables
and Gus/Growltiger and Bustopher Jones in Cats. 

TELEVISION AND VIDEO:  Credits include West Country Tales; Shelley; 'Allo 'Allo;
Three Up, Two Down; Laura and Disorder, Home to Roost; Tabs Tales and a mini
series The Endless Game. Also Les Misérables - 10th Anniversary Concert, he
was asked by Gillian Lynne to recreate the role of Bustopher Jones
in Cats-the Video. 

RECORDINGS:  Cats (international cast), Les Misérables - 10th Anniversary Concert,
We Can Be Kind (Crusaid) and he has worked in Australia where he
recorded the album, A Portrait of Love. 

CURRENTLY:  James was working in the show Mamma Mia, along side Leah Sue Morland.
