Hunter Jaques

Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Hunter began dancing at age eight, in addition to
studying singing, speech and drama. He trained in classical ballet at Dance World 301 in
Melbourne, then at the New Zealand School of Dance where he achieved his Royal Academy of
Dancing advances Examination. He has also studied Cossack dancing with Kalinka Dance Company.
Hunter's first professional engagement was as a member of Dance Theatre Victoria in there
Australian tour. Hunter more recently performed in Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat touring Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand.
