Vehement Harms

Violence is a tremendous part of modern society, but whether you stand in the midst of the turmoil, or on the outskirts, the problem may not seem important to you. For example, someone victim to daily bombings and crimes in the Middle East would see bloodshed in a different light then someone who only witnesses it through movies and the media. However, no matter who you are, violence will remain a constant problem, which mankind will constantly question and try to solve- without avail.

Violence can occur for reasons as trite as jealousy or embarrassment; yet can also be in association with war and the need for food. Trying to end all forms of brutality would of course be futile, and so would an attempt to grow immunity. An answer like that is hard to live with though. Should we just give up? Sure it would be easier, but would it be right?

Solving the problem is useless, but trying is not. If you cannot stop drive by shootings, at least you can minimize them, and this statement stands true to all examples of cruelty. To solve these problems, we have to look inside ourselves, for we are the problems and the solution in one. No one is wrong, and no one is at fault, but being right is impossible.
