Don Adkins: Assistant Stage Manager/Bustopher Jones/Gus/Growltiger
Wonderful guy. He was so funny as Gus, and he was very nice at the door. I can't compare him to William, since I never saw William, but I did not think he acted like an understudy at all. He was very good. His Bustopher was excellent. A little out of it though. However, his Gus was very well-done. I got tears the first night. His Growltiger was very funny but got progressively less-funny each show. By Saturday he had gone down quite a bit from his original energy. But at the stage door he was really nice, once I met him on Wednesday. I first talked to him at Barnes and Noble.
Brad Barnes: Dance Captain/Tumblebrutus
Not a very talkative guy. The only thing he really ever said to me was, "Did you enjoy the show?" (Yes, Brad, I did.) However, when he performed back in his original role as Tumblebrutus, he was fabulous! He has amazing flips! He knows that stage too well, cause he did a running jump off the tire, onto the tunnel, onto the oven, and launched himself onto the ledge by the stage right wing. However, I have to say Brian had more expression.
Wendi Bergamini: Jellylorum/Griddlebone
Lovely voice. Wendi is very talented, especially vocally. I love her Griddlebone, cause it's so funny to watch her. Her Jellylorum is very cute, and for some reason, gets laughter even though she is being serious. Didn't talk to her much at all. A little at Barnes and Noble. But she did seem very nice.
Bryce Bermingham: Mungojerrie/Genghis
BRYCE! Yeah! Ahem... What can I say? A lot... Bryce is a fantastic Mungojerrie! He has a gorgeous singing voice, and he's an incredible dancer! Very, very talented. His Genghis is the best I've ever seen because his sword-fighting technique is real. (Not to mention he's incredibly funny. I can't see the Genghis voice coming out of him cause it sounds so weird, so unlike his normal voice.) Definitely one of the best Mungojerries I've ever seen. And he is the nicest guy you will ever meet. But watch out for him and Dave together, cause they are absolutely crazy! Little boys trapped in adult bodies, as I tell my friends. But overall the sweetest guy you will ever meet.
David A. Blonn: Pouncival
Dave, Dave, Dave... What can you say about such a talented guy? He is an amazing dancer, although at some points I lost a little of his energy at some points. It didn't seem like he was always going full-out. However, he was the cutest Pouncival I've ever seen. Honestly. Very naive, hyperactive, crazy. His fighting with Tumblebrutus during Bustopher Jones was absolutely adorable. And, overall, Dave's a very wonderful guy. He and Bryce are a lot alike, which might explain their close friendship. You never know what he's going to say or do next. He and Bryce are crazy, although I think Dave is the more reserved of the two.
Jarrett Ali` Boyd: Old Deuteronomy
Jarrett has the most amazing voice! He is so incredibly talented. He is definitely one of the best Old Deuteronomys I've seen. He is very nice too. I'm curious as to what kind of music he listens to on his headphones after every show. But he is a wonderful Old Deuteronomy.
Erin Braithwaite: Swing/Demeter
Erin is so pretty! She was a wonderful Demeter in the very last show. She has the most gorgeous eyes, and, with the lines from the makeup, they looked absolutely stunning! She had a beautiful voice too, except in the beginning of Grizabella, she sounded like she was going to cry. If I had to choose between her and Jessica Patty, I'd probably have to flip a coin. And, for the few seconds that I talked to her, she was very, very sweet.
Brian Collier: Tumblebrutus/Gus/Growltiger
Brian has amazing flips. Very cool. His Tumblebrutus is very fun to watch, especially his expression. However, he kept hurting himself on stage, so he told me, and bothered to show me a really nice injury to his leg. Thanks, Brian:) His Gus was very cute, but I still say he looked like Jellylorum's younger brother. The gray, I know, was meant to make him look older, but I don't think it worked. His Growltiger was fabulous though, except he just didn't always seem exactly sure when to react with Griddlebone. I wish they let him sing more, because he has a beautiful voice! Overall, not very talkative, but still a really cool guy!
A. Ross Cornell: Swing/Mungojerrie/Pouncival
First of all, what does the "A" stand for? Ross... I didn't like his Mungojerrie. To me, it felt like he was just going through the motions, and he was definitely not as cute as Bryce! He and Pam didn't do all 6 of the double cartwheels either. Pam touched the ground twice, Ross once, then they did a double pirouette together. However, his Pouncival was very cute. (Not as cute as Dave though.) His makeup didn't really flatter his face too much, I thought. Made it look too round. But he was a cute kitten. An excellent dancer as well. Never met him at the door, so I can't say how nice he is, but I'm sure he is nice.
Colin Cunliffe: Swing/Rum Tum Tugger
Colin is amazing! The only role I saw him in was Tugger, but he was fabulous! 100 times better than Stan! (Don't tell anyone.) He was a very, very funny Tugger, and he blew me a kiss off the stage. I love him at the end of his song when he does a 360 degree pivot. And, for some reason, I liked his costume better than Stan's too. But, overall, Colin's a really cool guy! He gave me and my pals hugs at the door, and he really, really liked hearing me say how talented he was. He was absolutely brilliant! One of my favorite Tuggers of all time! I've seen some good and some bad. Colin's definitely one of the good ones!
Melissa Elizabeth Emrico: Cassandra
Melissa is a beautiful Cassandra, and, unlike Rebecca Parker from the video, she can sing with the group! Very, very flexible girl! Very talented as well. Lovely dancer with really cool expression. I loved her during Grizabella. Never met her at the door, so I don't know how nice she is, but from snatches of conversation I heard from her, she seemed very sweet.
Mike Ericson: Swing/Skimbleshanks/Alonzo/Munkustrap
Mike is the swing I saw the most of. He is extremely talented to be able to do so many different characters. He is a wonderful dancer, and he has a very cool voice. I think my favorite role I saw him in was Skimbleshanks. His Munkustrap was fun, but I just liked Grant a little better. His Alonzo was also really good, but, again, Ronnie was just better. (Also, Mike's Alonzo makeup made him look like he had a moustache.) His Skimble was very funny cause he actually tumbled off the hat, unlike Warren, and I could tell what the motions he was doing were supposed to be. At the door, he was the greatest guy. He always stopped to say hi, and he always knew what was going on. A very cool, very talented guy!
Warren Freeman: Skimbleshanks
Warren was so funny as Skimble that I thought I was going to split my sides! He was a very cool Skimble, and I liked seeing a non-Scottish Skimble. He was incredibly funny, especially during his number. He had the funniest expressions, especially when he was reprimanding the kittens. Not my favorite Skimble, but he was very cool. Didn't meet him, so I don't know much about him, but if he's anything like his character, he's a great guy.
Julie Garnye`: Jennyanydots
Julie is the funniest Jenny I've ever seen. She has the cutest expressions, especially when Munkustrap is playing with her tail. She is so fun to watch, and, from the little that she actually sings, has a very pretty voice. She doesn't dance a lot, but her tap number is spectacular. Didn't meet her, but I've heard she's really nice.
Gretchen Goldsworthy: Grizabella
Gretchen has replaced Elaine as my favorite Grizabella! She has the most fantastic voice I've ever heard! And she has the coolest expression I've ever seen! The only thing about her that I didn't like was the streaked lipstick that, the first time I saw it, made me think she looked like a vampire. But she almost moved me to tears every night. She has such a powerful voice! And when she's trying to dance just before Memory, she just looks so sad. At the stage door, I only talked to her once, but she was very, very nice. Definitely the best Grizabella I've ever seen.
William Hartery: Bustopher Jones/Gus/Growltiger
I didn't get to see him, so I can't say anything about him. I've heard he's a great guy both on and off the stage though.
Susanna Hirst: Assistant Dance Captain/Swing/Victoria
Susanna was a very cute Victoria for the couple shows I got to see her. She's definitely not as good as Shylo, and not as flexible. When she did the solo dance on Saturday night, she was shaking so badly I wasn't sure she'd get through it. But she was very good throughout the rest of the shows. She was very kittenish. From the little I heard her sing, I didn't particularily like her voice, but she was very, very sweet in person. Didn't talk to her much at the door, but I did see her at Barnes and Noble, and she seemed like a very nice girl.
Sharon Huneycutt: Bombalurina
Sharon was a very, very cool Bombalurina. I really liked her dancing. She is not as good as Rosemarie Ford, but she is one of the better Bombalurinas I've seen. She has a cool voice, but at some points, especially if she's hissing, I think she looks more like a snake than a cat. I especially like her little game with Tugger at the end. She has very cute expression, and her interaction with everyone, especially Demeter, is very well-done. Didn't meet her at the door, so I don't know much about her.
Nicole Johndrow: Swing
I never saw Nicole, and I never met her either, so I don't have anything to say about her.
Ronnie Nelson: Alonzo
Ronnie is a fantastic guy! He is an absolutely amazing dancer and has a fabulous voice! I loved his shadow dance with Demeter during Macavity. He's an absolutely awesome dancer, and his fight with Macavity is fantastic! He is also very tall, I think the tallest one in the cast. At the stage door, he was the first one I met. He loved the picture I gave him and was quite willing to talk. I was a bit surprised because his singing voice is extremely loud and deep, but his normal voice is actually a lot softer and higher. I think Ronnie got tired of seeing me after every show, but he was always so nice to talk to. Very talented too. Definitely a cool kitty cat!
McCree O'Kelley: Mr. Mistoffelees
MCCREE! YEAH! *cough* Well, what can you say about such an amazingly fantastic guy? McCree has so much talent! He is an amazing dancer and has a beautiful voice! He is the best Mistoffelees I've ever seen, and I've never seen a bad Misto, so that's saying a lot. I wish they let him sing more, because he has such a great voice. But his number will leave you on the edge of your chair, if not on your feet. But I think what I love most about him is his expression. He has the cutest faces, even cuter than Jacob Brent. (And that's really saying something.) He has talent pouring from him. And he's the nicest, sweetest guy you will ever meet! He is always willing to talk, and he will chat about anything! He is also one of the most willing to stick around to talk. And yes, he is Irish.
Jessica Lea Patty: Demeter
Jessica is a wonderful Demeter! She is so pretty and has a beautiful voice. She is a wonderful dancer, especially during Macavity. She has such talent. And, from how she was at Barnes and Noble, she seems like a very nice woman. I didn't ever talk to her apart from that, but she was very talented and very cool to watch.
Pamela Rainey: Rumpelteazer
Pam is so cute! She was one of the better Rumpelteazers that I've seen. She and Bryce were absolutely perfect together. She has so much talent! I love it when she snaps her garters during her number. She has a very cute voice and the greatest expression. She was an amazing dancer as well. I didn't talk to her at the door, sadly, but she seems very nice from what everyone tells me.
Shylo Smith: Victoria
Shylo never ceased to amaze me every show. She was so beautiful and so talented. She was a gorgeous dancer as well. Not as flexible as Phyllida Crowley-Smith, but she was still awesome! She had much better expression than Phyllida ever did though. She was so pretty too. I missed her when she didn't perform. I didn't meet her, so I don't know her that well. She was usually one of the first ones to leave.
Stan Stanley: Rum Tum Tugger
I can't say I really liked Stan a whole lot. I've seen a lot of bad Tuggers and a lot of good Tuggers. Stan's right in the middle. He had a good voice, and he was an excellent dancer, but I just didn't like his character interpretation. I did, however, like him using his tail as a microphone. And I liked him in Mr. Mistoffelees. I just didn't like his number. I liked Colin so much better. Nothing against Stan though. He was a nice guy, the little I got to talk to him. But he didn't know I was there every night. Shame on you, Stan! Overall, a nice guy, just didn't like his Tugger too much.
Everett Taylor: Plato/Macavity
Awesome flips! Everett is so talented in gymnastics! He is a wonderful Macavity, especially in the fight scene. He and Ronnie and Grant did very well together. Everett has a lot of energy and is a wonderful dancer. I never talked to him, so I don't know much about him. He was usually one of the first to leave.
Grant Turner: Munkustrap
Grant is an absolutely fabulous Munkustrap! I absolutely adored his singing! And he is an amazing dancer! My favorite point with him is Jenny's tap number and the Macavity fight. The fierce look on his face during the fight was so fun! He is very, very talented. He had very good expression, but it always looked like he was going to cry. But he was also a very, very nice guy. He seemed almost shy when he talked to me, but he was so nice. He has a really cool accent. (He's from Australia.) He is very nice, and very funny. He's a joy to watch onstage.
Katie Ann Wanner: Sillabub
Katie is such a cute kitten. I love her expression and her dancing. However, as cute as her voice is and appropriate for how old her character is, I did find it a little annoying. It was pretty, but sometimes it sounded too scratchy and like it was fading in and out. But she was very, very pretty and the cutest little kitten. I didn't talk to her, so I don't know much about her.
Karl Warden: Swing
Karl was out with a foot injury, so he was not in Minnesota. However, from what I know from talking to him that he is a really nice guy. I'm sorry I missed him.
