Believing his career has become an aimless pursuit of money, Guiseppi Verdi (Joe Green) has become depressed.
He meets Antonio Vivaldi (Father Tony), Il Prete Rosso (The Red Priest), in Venice.
To cheer up Joe, Tony suggests he attend confession.
As penance, Tony asks Joe take a vow of poverty and devote his talents to the service of the church.
Joe agrees if Tony stops using the orphanage as a harem.
Joe and Tony seek solace by discussing musical themes while imbibing sacramental wine.

Technical Interlude
Joe Green Meets the Red Priest was composed with a text editor - html tagging all the way.
Looks good in full-screen ... in the key of F11 ;^)

In 2002. the Author linked midi files in these pages because they are small (and load quickly.)
Modern web browsers require a midi player extension to play midi files.
Without this extension, Google Chrome browser will download the midi file which may be played.
Firefox will offer to download or play the file.

Welcome Visitors |
For the Welcome Visitors page, the Author blatantly plagiarized a famous Vivaldi melody, sequencing a five-instrument midi file.
The music consists of 14 measures featuring Milt Jackson on vibes, Lionel Hampton on marimba, Mike Oldfield on tubular bells,
Herbie Hancock on honky tonk piano and Rocket Norton on steel drum.
An MP3 file converted from this midi file plays when the Welcome Visitors page opens.
