Wirral Christian Media has the vision of a permanent Christian Radio Station on Wirral

 WIRRAL CHRISTIAN MEDIA - STATEMENT OF PURPOSE :

Operate Christian radio covering and supporting all local Christian churches to give air to the width and depth that there is in the Christian faith.

Keep within the guidelines laid down by the Radio Authority for broadcasting.

Give opportunity to all ages, and both sexes, to learn, develop and use skills in broadcasting and in radio station management and operation.

Maintain a correct broadcasting balance of Christian to secular material, accepting that our reach is towards Christian and non-Christian alike but remembering our calling to be salt and light in our community. Particularly target at the 20 to 40 age grouping, including families.

Focus primarily on the geographical Wirral but encourage other groups within neighbouring areas in any desires to operate Christian Radio.

Encourage and be involved in related activities within the Christian music scene.

Operate supported primarily by financial contribution but accepting some input from local sponsorship in a proper manner.

	Seek every opportunity to progress towards achieving, under God’s direction, a full time Christian Radio Station on the Wirral.
	Maintain an independence and avoid ownership by any specific Christian organisation. Engender links with existing local Christian organisations, and operate in a respectful manner towards national Christian bodies. In particular maintain membership of the Evangelical Alliance and the Association of Chrtian Broadcasters..
