The Seven Seas of Rhye

The Commander, along with his closest captains were out celebrating. They had just captured the *Heartbreak*! The most rebellious of the Bohemians were finally taken care of.
They had toasted this... several times. And by now the Commander along with most of the others were just a bit tipsy.

It was growing later, but the Commander still wanted to send all of them off tonight.
One of his captains commented on how they should probably do that soon.
The Commander laughed in agreement and pulled out his cell phone, hitting one of the speed dial buttons.

"Yes sir?" Tom had answered the phone. He had stayed behind at Globalsoft during the raid, since the commander very rarely made him attend.
"I needjoo to come pick me up," the Commander said, slurring slightly.
"Yes sir," Tom said, "I will be there in five minutes."
"Yer a good man, T-Tom," the Commander said, before laughing again.
"Yes sir," Tom responded.

After the promised five minutes, Tom entered the restaurant and was directed to a private room in the back where the Commander was still... 'celebrating'.
"Sir?" Tom called.
The Commander looked up and gave Tom a nod. Then he turned back to his captains and said: "Well boys, I'm on my way! I'm gonna send off those bloody *Bohemians*!" He spat out the word 'Bohemians' but it was more because it took effort to get the word out.
"Here here!" the captains cheered, taking another drink. (Commander included.)

Tom just stood there silently by the door, waiting.
"Lessgo," the Commander said to Tom, as he nearly slammed his glass down on the table.
"Yes sir," Tom said.
The Commander got to his feet shakily, standing still until he regained his balance.
Tom knew better then to offer to help

Outside, Tom held the car door open as the Commander practically tumbled inside. He shut the door and then went around to the driver's seat.
"Sir?" he asked, "Would you like anything? Food or coffee or something?"
"Jus' to send those... *Bohemians* off to where they belong!"
"Yes sir," Tom said, "I will radio your medics and tell them to prepare everything while I stop for food."
"Good man," The Commander laughed, "I've *got* them Tom!"
Tom refrained from cringing as he listened to his boss giggle in the back seat all the way to the diner.

Tom parked the car in front of the diner and looked back at the commander. "You can wait here sir," he said, "I'll be right back."
The Commander didn't answer, but he did stay in the car.

Tom went in and quickly came out with a cup of coffee and a bag.

"Here sir," he said handing him the bag and the cup, "you said you were hungry."
The Commander took the bag from Tom.
"If you eat in the car, you'll be done when we get back."
The Commander gave a nod, "Get me back."
"Yes sir," Tom climbed into the driver's seat.

The Commander opened the bag and started to eat as Tom made his way back to Globalsoft. He had finished everything by the time they made it back.
When they pulled into the garage, he gave an eerie sort of grin. They were back!

Tom put the car in park and got out, opening the door for the Commander.
The food must have helped counter the alcohol, because he was a bit steadier on his feet now. He wasn't completely sober yet, but he looked it... for the most part.

They entered the building. Tom didn't say anything, and he didn't help the commander but he did keep a sharp eye on him. He trailed the commander to the door of the lab room that held the Heartbreakers and the machine.
The Commander gave a laugh before entering the room.

He walked over towards his craft. Luckily, he didn't have to walk around if he chose not to.
"We're ready commander," one of the medics said.
He gave a nod and switched on his craft, rising up into the air above the captive Bohemians.

"What do you know of the phrase 'Living Rock'?" He growled to the Bohemians, starting the interrogation, "Where is the 'Place of the Champions'?"
"They're freedom words Pig!" Puff yelled, "Words the dreamer used! We don't know what they mean!"

"He tells the truth commander Khashoggi," the medic responded, "I've applied a search function to his brain and can find no evidence of deceit."
"Pity," the Commander replied, "Hurt him anyway!"
Puff gulped and braced. He let out a yell as electricity surged through him, nearly lifting him off his chair.
"Flash! Aaaah!"
"And I'd rather you didn't call me 'Pig'!" he spat.
"Pig's too good for you!" Meatloaf yelled up at the commander.
"Hurt her also!" he roared
"Flash! Aaah!"
Meat cried out as she too was zapped.

The Commander laughed, "In fact..." he was having way too much fun with this, "In fact... hurt them all!" His laughter rang through the room over the Bohemians painful cries.

"For what it's worth," he spoke (Once he had calmed down) "Your dreamer knows no more then you or I do. He's a poor idiot, parroting phrases which he does not understand. Still, he led me to you and for that I am grateful."

"Are..." Puff took a breath, "Are you going to kill us?"
"Oh Please," the Commander scoffed, "Globalsoft is not some medieval inquisition." He sneered down at Puff, "Oh no, Mr. 'Diddy-Daddy-dumb-diddy-do.' That would be *far* too easy. Oh no, no, no. Old rockers never die, they simply f-faaade away..." As he spoke the eerie grin returned.
"You're sending us to the Seven Seas of Rhye!"
"'Whoop, der it is,'" he spat back at Puff mockingly. He turned to the medics, "Prepare the helmets!"

The medics put the orange helmets on the captive Bohemian's heads.
"Dreamer Follow us!" Meat cried out, "Bohemians, give him your power! Make your last thoughts the dream!"
"Good night Miss. Loaf," he sneered.
"Noooooo!" cried all the Bohemians.

The Commander threw the switch and started the machine. The Bohemians twitched as the machine whirred to life, and they tried to fight it.

And then, the Commander started to sing.

"Fear me you lords and lady preachers
I descend upon your Earth from the skies
I command your very souls you unbelievers
Bring before me what is mine!
The Seven Seas of Rhye!"

He slipped out of his trench coat and stopped his craft, getting out and making his way up to the platform.

"Can you hear me you peers and privy counselors
I stand before you naked to the eyes
I will destroy any man who dares abuse my trust
I swear that you'll be mine
The Seven Seas of Ryhe!

Sister - I'll live and lie for you
Mister - I'll do it or die
You are mine, I posses you
I belong to you forever - ever-ever-aah!"

A nasty look crossed his face.
Several of the medics exchanged looks. True, the Commander had always seemed to enjoy consigning the rebels, but this time he seemed to be having far too much fun with it.

He let out a laugh and began to 'dance', mocking the Bohemians and messing with each of them in turn.
The Bohemians were helpless to stop him as their memories were torn away from them.

"Storm the master-marathon of life
By flash and thunder-fire I'll survive
I'll survive - I'll survive - I'll survive - I'll survive
Then I'll defy the laws of nature and come out alive...
Then I'll get you!"

He stopped at Puff and smacked him around, mocking him. The former leader of the Heartbreakers collapsed as his mind emptied, offering no resistance.
He let Puff go, and the Bohemian landed hard against the chair.

"Be gone with you - you shod and shady senators
Give out the good, leave out the bad evil cries
I challenge the mighty titans and his troubadours
And with a smile....
I'll take you to the Seven Seas of Rhye- hye!"

The Commander finished as he headed for the stairs, getting down off the platform. He looked back to the Bohemians.
"Oh I do like to be beside the seaside..." they sang, "Oh I do like to be beside the sea..."

The Commander let out a final nasty laugh. He had WON!
He headed out of the room, leaving the medics to deal with the now brainless Bohemains.

The Commander headed up to his apartment. Amazingly, he still managed to walk straight.
Tom saw him pass his office and headed out to make sure the Commander got home alright.
Upon hearing Tom, the Commander turned around
"Did it go well sir?"
The Commander laughed again, "I've WON!" he shouted.
"Yes sir," Tom replied.

He let out another laugh, giving a slight skip.
Tom sighed inwardly, but showed no sign of it on the outside. "Are you going back home sir?"
"Of course," the Commander replied, "Though I'd... I'd *love* to tell her... her Queen-ness about the victory."
"You said that it should wait until tomorrow sir," Tom said cautiously, knowing that the commander wasn't suppose to be around KQ when he was drunk.
"Yes... I suppose it should," The Commander replied, "After all, we... I don't want Her to see me this way..." He chuckled.
"Yes sir," Tom sounded a bit relieved.

The Commander continued on. As he walked, he began to softly sing the song again.
Tom saw that he made it safely to his apartment and was settled, then turned and left.

The next morning the Commander awoke on the couch bed in his apartment. He stretched and sat up slowly. His head didn't ache, and he remembered everything from last night clearly.
He grinned slightly. He had caught them.... The Heartbreak hotel. He let out another laugh.

He stood up, and then stopped, remembering what else happened last night and he swore. He had nearly gone right away to KQ... but Tom had stopped him.
