Castration of the Genital Sheath is a five-piece hardcore outfit from any-town Pennsylvania. They came together in the early spring of 2002 AD to revive a dying scene in their area. Reading Pennsylvania has a good following but there are not many bands to help keep shows going and fans of the music thriving for more. C.O.T.G.S. wants to bring that back to the area. With five members with 5 different musical tastes, C.O.T.G.S. has come up with a sound of their own. Combining everything from mosh-heavy breakdowns, "anthemy" 80’s style metal, technical drumbeats, and harshly screamed vocals, C.O.T.G.S. has already begun to leave their mark on the area. With a 5 song EP under their belts, C.O.T.G.S. will be playing and making more music for a long time to come.
