The Nightmare Before Christmas
__________________________________________________

I have heard that there are other synchronicities combining the music of Radiohead with Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas listed in various places around the internet. This does not surprise me at all. There is a lot of interesting imagery contained within the Amnesiac CD-booklet, for example, that led *me* to experiment with these components, and I am sure the artwork inspired some of these other endeavors as well. To be honest, the lyrics of Amnesiac itself did not really draw me to the concept of this synch, which may be why so much manipulation was neccessary ...

To view this synch, program your stereo to play Amnesiac's tracks in the following order: 6 7 8 9 10 4 11, and have the album paused at the beginning of track 6. Fast-forward your copy of The Nightmare Before Christmas to when the children from Halloween Town kindap Santa Claus ... When Jack introduces himself to Saint Nick, get ready. Santa will say, 'But there must be some mistake!' and gesture dramatically. Press play when Santa finishes speaking that sentence.

This synch, discovered by Baker B. (and linked-to elsewhere on this web-site), was the first to use The Nightmare Before Christmas as the video component of an audiovideo synchronicity. In my opinion, it's still the best ... Pay special attention to the stunning connections that occur during the second half of the movie.
