Everyone's heard the news. 'CATS', the longest running musical in the history of Broadway, is closing on June 25, 2000.
The plan isn't going to change. We just want to make sure that the Really Useful Group knows just how many 'CATS' fans there are out there. To know how many people wanted to live the dream, but now cannot. To know how many people who were right there when Grizabella went to the Heaviside Layer. To know how many people are going to miss seeing the cute song of Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer, the breathtaking dance of Mistoffelees, and the beautiful song known as 'Memory'. And to let them know how many people never even got to see it. NEW!!! Read a poem dedicated to the closing of CATS! Here! And yet another poem Here!We are creating a list of as many 'CATS' fans as we can find, old and young, new fans and old ones. Please, if you have a 'CATS' website of any kind, big or small, we ask that you link to us using the below banner.
If you know of any 'CATS' fans whatsoever, contact them, or give us their email, and we'll contact them ourselves. If you wish to fight back, then please send us your name, and the state/country you live in. We will try to create the longest list of 'CATS' fans there is, and then show the RUG how many fans they are disappointing with the closing of this musical.
