The Light HouseI was lost at sea, swept away by the cruel unforgiving currents. A piece of driftwood to which I clung was the only thing that stood between me and the treacherous depths of the ocean. Giant waves crashed on top of me. The salt of the water stinging my open wounds. I was so close to letting go and just surrendering myself to the sea., but a glimmer of hope peirced the darkness of those black ominous clouds. The warmth of it’s rays cut trhough the mists. I swam towards the heavenly beam, but there was no need. It was as though the waters which had finally calmed were directing me towards this saving citadel. It was there that I found refuge from all that would harm me. This beacon was inviting. It shelterred me from the harsh rains and warmed me with its fire. The whistle from thegentle breeze that swept trhough the house sang me to sleep My own special lullaby. I had found a santuary. It gave me a home.
