My name's Leila, I'm 16, I have a biological brother called Thomas, Tomlet, Tom, T or That Evil Kid depending on my mood at the time of naming, and 6 adoptive siblings. Not legally adopted, more like.. umm... extended family extended to non-blood-relatives. And they're all older'n me, 'cept Minnie, who isn't. So I get a chance at being the younger one for a change! I've also got a pair of adoptive nieces through Minnie, as she's got adoptive daughters. So yeah, one big happy adopted family.
I'm also a bit strange, in various ways. Occasionally I know what people're feeling, sometimes even when I'm not near them. That's only with people I'm good friends with though, normally. Oh, and my younger cousin has sent mental messages to me before, too. And I taught her to use runes to answer questions, having learnt recently myself. So all good fun! And surprisingly accurate.. I may have to do a rune section on my blog at this rate. Oh, that reminds me. Blog thingy's here for those of you who're interested. And while I'm at it, for camping photos, try here.
One day I plan to write a rhyme about octopi and meercats joining to revel in the fire of mind-control.. except with different phrasing so it makes sense! Until then, I think I'll stick to music..
Speaking of which, I'm in a band. We even have a name now - The Widow of Westmoreland's Daughters. Bit odd, as two of us're male and, well, if you know the song that's taken from it's a bit ironic in other ways too. We might have a different name soon though.. We're a folk band and at some point I might even get around to making a webpage for us. Or maybe a site if the others'll help. There're 5 of us altogether, although we might end up with more'n that at some point. We've still gotta get a male singer somehow. I'm lead singer at the moment, for folky stuff at least, mainly 'cos I'm the only singer who knows enough folky stuff to sing to what the others can play. Nice'n complicated, huh?
And just to scare people - I'm currently on.. how many.. 9 tabletty things a day. And I have trouble swallowing tablets too... ugh. Fun. But I also know that suspensions aren't necessarily better - at least I can't taste the tablets too much. But that's ridiculous - I've gone from nothing added per day to 9 tablets plus 2.5ml of something truly vile-tasting..
Well, I find it scary, even if you don't.. \
For those in my home city who want to contact me for some reason, use 440 863. You'll either get me or Dad, and neither of us bites. Well, not often anyway. I won't give out my area code 'cos if I do some unscrupulous person'll use it for their own evil little purposes. And I'm not naming my home city either! Anyone I don't mind calling (who doesn't already have this number) knows where I live. Or for those who aren't sure - try the city where my school is!
And yes, I do know that was a bit dragged-out - but it's my website! And you did choose to come here, unless my mind-controlling penguins have also been playing with your mind..? But they're cute so that's ok.
