NSAI
Birmingham Alabama Regional Workshop
Next Meeting: April 10, 2006 - 6pm
Location:
Moonlight Music Cafe

Recap of meeting on March13, 2006:

Fifteen brave souls weathered tornado warnings and traffic to come to the Moonlight for our March meeting. With a goal to get to know each other more as potential co-writers, we held a *Song Rehab* session where attendees brought in their troublesome song starts and the group made suggestions on ways to develop the song, ideas to develop the hooks, etc. We rehabbed approximately 7 songs, and had one regular critique. Next month, we'll be talking about the AABA song form.

Please join us for our next meeting on April 10, 2006 at 6pm at the Moonlight Music Cafe, Birmingham's premier venue for songwriters. The Moonlight hosts an open mic at 8pm so any and all are encouraged to stay and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity and support our local musicians.

Stay tuned as we hope to update this page with our progress as a new and expanding group, and as we highlight our members and their accomplishments along the way.

Please, come and bring all your songwriting friends.
