Recap of meeting on Aug 25, 2006:

At our meeting on Monday, Sptember 25, 2006, we spent some time generally discussing demos, and then reviewed Fett’s “The Song Demo Life Cycle” lesson from the NSAI pro-teacher series. This lesson addressed what type of demo would be most appropriate for a song, based on where that song is in its own life cycle. We critiqued songs from 4 attendees, and then heard from Karen Reynolds about her song-coaching services and writer retreat plan in Knoxville. Our next meeting will be on Monday, October 16, 2006 at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church. We will be discussing ways to craft effective choruses in a lesson called "Get to the Chorus."
