Recap of meeting on March 12, 2007:

Fifteen songwriting souls met at Vestavia Hills Baptist from 6:00-7:30 on March 12th. We discussed Jerry Vandiver and Gracie Hollombe Vandiver’s lesson on "Your First Cut: Doing Something Every Day to Further Your Songwriting Career." We brainstormed different acts you can take each day to enhance your songwriting. We then listened to and critiqued songs from 5 attendees.

Our next meeting will be Monday, April 9th, and we'll be having an NSAI Open Mic night! This will be a great way for us to continue getting to know each other through our music. We'll be in the Fellowship Hall at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church - sound equipment will be set up. If you plan to play a song, please send an e-mail to Donna Brooks at dbrooks@lmpv.com so you can be put on the set list!
