I dont have any clues which direction to take this one in. Though I tend to think country with all my lyrics, this one may tend more toward pop, simply because of the chorus (or lack thereof).

MY HEART'S IN COLORADO

V1
She taxis down the runway
I'm left wavin' at the gate
She disappears into thin air
She said she'd call when she gets there
I go home, sit by the phone
She finally calls to let me know
(That) MY HEART'S IN COLORADO.

Chorus:
My heart (my heart)
MY HEART'S IN COLORADO
My heart (my heart)
MY HEART'S IN COLORADO

V2
She sends me picture postcards
Today she went to the park
She tells me that she's made some friends
I think she's finally settling in
She says she really likes the snow
When I call her up to let her know
(That) MY HEART'S IN COLORADO.

Chorus:
My heart (my heart)
MY HEART'S IN COLORADO
My heart (my heart)
MY HEART'S IN COLORADO

V3

She taxis down the runway
I'm here waitin' at the gate
I watch as she gets off the plane
I cant believe how much she's changed
She runs across the crowded room
Arms open wide, "Daddy I love you" …

(Fade out …… then repeat music to chorus.)
