Seems like no matter what happens and how bad we get hurt, we girls just cant keep from jumping right back in there with our ol' broken hearts and trying again ............. :-)

Anyhow

V1
Clock's goin' off, sun's comin' up
I shuffle to the kitchen, pour myself a cup
Thinkin' 'bout last night, while gettin' dressed for work,
Wonderin' how to stop this old familiar hurt,
I knew goin' in, you'd soon be wantin' out,
But that didn't stop me from lovin' you anyhow.

V2
I get into the car, head off down the street,
Rememberin' your smile, how it knocked me off my feet.
You captured my heart, with your devilish charm,
And we loved the nights away, in each others arms.
I knew goin' in, you'd soon be wantin' out,
But that didn't stop me from lovin' you anyhow.

Chorus
My heart races free, then stumbles to it's knees, like a child
It's lonely and lost, paying the cost of bein' loved for a little while
I've been here before, no need to keep score,
'Cause I know the losses outnumber the wins,
Tomorrow's a new day, I'll be back in the race,
And my heart will take off from the starting line again.

V3
Day's finally done, time to go home,
Out in the parking lot, bump into someone,
"Oh excuse me please, I didn't see you standin' there"
He turns, runs his fingers through his hair,
I know goin' in, he'll soon be wantin' out,
But that won't stop me from lovin' him anyhow.
