Me & Stu Allan

So when i was in school i was listening to this music, i had never heard anything like it in my life. It was so uplifting, so happy & so catchy.

When i got home i was listening to depressing guitar's, screaming singing ect...

Their was no contest.

I started to get to know some of the tunes that where being played, i had started to develop a taste for the music without even knowing it.

Before class used to start we used to have a vote (democracy rules after all), i was putting my hand up for "Happy Hardcore", people used to laugh because at the time i was known as a metal music person (i can't think of another way to describe what i was...) but i did actually want to listen to it.

As usual the DJ of choice was DJ Stu Allan.

A little bit about Stu Allan.

His mixing style was basic compared to now but he was a great DJ all the same.

The host of the Hardcore hour on Key 103 & a part of Visa (and Clock, but i'll forgive him for that) who where responsible for such hardcore classics as Holding On For You, Don't Go Away, All I Need and one of the all time anthems Fly Away.

Sadly the hardcore hour was moved to saturday nights, then eventually cancelled.
