Well you are in luck!! The first Cross-Strung Harp Weekend is upon us!!! Come see what it is like to play without levers or pedals and to have any accidental you need instantly at your fingertips. Come experience the different types of music you can easily play on a cross-strung and how to play them!!! Yes, you are welcome and will fit in. Many people are attending who have never even seen one. Plenty of lessons/classes for beginners, cross-strungs to borrow and play on and cross-strung harp makers to talk with and perhaps purchase from. We are calling our weekend "Harper's Crossing Weekend X-travaganza" President's Day Weekend 2005 Friday, February 18 - Monday, February 21, 2005 Sheraton Hotel, Petaluma, California [One hour north of either San Francisco Airport or Oakland Airport] We will gather there from Friday evening to Monday afternoon and discuss and experience all things cross-strung!!!!

THIS IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY!!! So do not pass this up!!! Tell everyone you know. Even non-harpists who want to look at starting out on a cross-strung harp would be perfect for attending this weekend. Non-harpists have been very successful with the cross strung as their first harp. To entice you further, the Sheraton there is a lovely hotel. Our meeting room has a lovely view of the hills behind Petaluma. If the weather is nice, there is a lovely 'strolling' path in the wetlands next to the river. It's a bird sanctuary- so if you like bird-watching, bring your binoculars! And the hotel has a lovely full-service restaurant with room service.
