Band Bio

This is pretty much how the band got started. One day Tj(bass) and Cody(drums) were sitting at Cody's house looking at Musician's Friend magazines and Cody got this idea to start a band since Cody's brother and his dad had a band also so they decided Cody would be drums since he already knew how to play. Tj wanted to be Guitar or Bass. ICody said for him to play bass because maybe Cody's brother could show him how to play a little bit since Cody's brother listens to the same music. Cody's brother also played bass. Well, guess what! Adam(Cody's bro) never showed him anything and Tj got his first bass and he learned to play by himself and taught himself to read and write tabs. Cody was friends with someone who was in a band with him before that could play guitar. He was supposed to sing and play guitar. Then a few weeks later at a football game for HS, our friend, Summer, was wanting to be in our band. We said sure if you can play. She got a guitar for X-mas and she was in our band for a few weeks then we kicked her out for not practicing. About a week later, Matt's sister told Tj that her brother could play guitar. We talked to him on the phone and listened to him. He was pretty good. So we let him join and so Tj, Cody, and Matt started practicing because John could never make it to practice, but the band kept together. Once when all of us started practicing together, John wanted to play guitar for Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit." We told Matt to sing so John could play guitar. John was alot better than Matt at guitar and we found out Matt could sing pretty good, so we got an idea to switch it around a little bit. We moved Matt to singing and John to Lead Guitar. Well, Matt had a friend that played Guitar. His name was Jerry and I went to hang out with Matt and Jerry and he played guitar so everyone said it was okay to let him in. That is pretty much all of how the whole band got together. I will post more up when more happens in our lives.
