Aus-Rotten was formed in Pittsburgh in 1991. The name Aus-Rotten is German and it means extermination or mass murder. But because that sounded bad and it was a shocking name they decided for the word in German.Their real first lineup was later in 1992/1993, because first they had a lot lineup changes and never recorded anything. The lineup was Dave as Vocals, Eric and Ajax on guitar, Corey was the bass player, Richey as the drummer. Richey is former drummer of Necracedia. But after a while Ajax decided to quit and also Richey quit. They had a lot replacers, but Aus-Rotten broke up in the summer of 1996, after a tour through Europe. But Aus-Rotten came back in April 1997. The new lineup was Dave on vocals, Corey on bass, Eric as the guitarist and Pat as the drummer. Aus-Rotten again have had some lineup changes, The new lineup is: Dave on vocals, Eric as the guitarist, Corey on bass and Doug playing the role of the drummer.
