Hello, welcome and thanks for visiting this site! My name is Joshua Moore and Mindful Journey is my on-the-side, one-man project that I play everything on and record. I dig up all the creative juice I can and usually keep adding and adding layers until I feel the song says everything my mind's eye sees. It's a lot of fun and a great escape from reality of course. I'm in love with how easily music can take your mind away to another place, wether it be someplace dark or really uplifting and spiritually cleansing. "The Music Box" has been really fun and exciting. I'm also a writer and artist so I really enjoyed coming up with the story idea and characters, writing it, and drawing all the artwork for it, which will also be on the cd as well, when completed. As far as my musical background, I started out playing drums at an early age until becoming interested in writing my own songs and recording them about 8 years ago, while still playing drums off and on. I mainly play acoustic guitar and sing, but have gotten into keyboard string and piano sounds over the past couple of years, inspired by traditional classical and modern/classical music. I'm pleased to share my music with you here on this site. Peace be with you through the scary times in this world.
