10.27.03hello everyone. got some new shows posted on the "shows" section today, so check that out. we are still working on setting up our winter tour and not really having a whole lot of luck yet, but hopefully persistence will pay off. the last few shows have been really fun. we especially had a good time at the sidestreet show, where we tested out one of the misfits covers that we learned for the upcoming halloween show. new shirts will hopefully be ready by the halloween show also. i need a new ride cymbal.
10.19.03hey. last nite's show was awesome. we played crappy and had one hell of a great time doing so. all the bands kicked ass and a good time was had by all. well.....except for this one guy. this one guy had a really crappy nite. he doesn't want to talk about it. i don't either. i had a great nite though. more awesome shows coming up. if you don't go to the show this friday at the sidestreet i don't know if we can be friends anymore. we sold out of the cowboy logo shirts last nite, but we will have new shirts soon--a whole new logo. isn't that exciting? yeah....i didn't really think so either.
10.11.03Well, we got a few cool shows coming up--as always, check the shows page for that info. Also, we are beginning work on setting up a short midwest tour right after Christmas. We plan to hit Sioux Falls, Sioux City, Omaha, Des Moines, Chicago, Madison--ya know, the usual. Dale bought a beautiful brand new halfstack that should solve the problem with sometimes being unable to hear his guitar well at shows. Also, Matt has a beard. Still.
10.01.03Hello, everyone, and happy October to you. In addition to "this rain on my car is a baptism," (the new song that we've been closing our set with--which has been getting really good feedback from all of you, by the way, and we appreciate that), we have another new song in the works which is shaping up to be a real doozy, especially in terms of dynamics. It has some of the wimpiest stuff we've ever done and some of the hardest stuff we've ever done, all wrapped up in the same tight (hopefully) little package. Also, there's a little bit of a vocal surprise in the new song. come out to the show on the 18th (see the "shows" page for more info) to see just what that little surprise is. Also, we have one or two new merch designs in the works which i think you're going to like--we are all sold out of the cowboy t-shirt design (we may have 2 or 3 left), so it's time to move on. we really like that design, but we really like the new ideas too. Oh--another cool thing: we nearly have enough songs to start thinking about recording a full-length album. our goal is to have it completed before March, because we plan to tour over spring break. Anyway, keep on coming out to the shows to support us and the rest of the great F/M bands (name drop time: when something fails, lost for cause, neverwill, ILCK(IWYD) just to name a few).
