7.30.03Last nite's show at the new "Teen Rock" was great. It's actually a really cool place to have a show. We'll be playing there again this Saturday nite, so come out and check it out. Also, the response to all of our new merch was great--we sold a ton of stuff. Thanks to everyone who purchased something. We put a lot of time and money into this stuff so it's cool to see a good return. Oh....and last nite's show also marked the 2nd venue that "If Looks Could Kill" have been kicked out of. Good for them.
7.29.03T-Shirts have arrived. Full merch table tonight. T-shirts (women's & men's), patches, hats, stickers, pins, CD's. Prices are low as shit.....ain't got no hateration. -J
7.24.03The t-shirt order shipped yesterday, so we'll have them in a couple days. I think I'm just going to go ahead and do the drawing cuz I'm so darned excited. I'll post the winners....uh....maybe tomorrow.....or even tonite. I think I'm going to do an in-town and an out-of-town winner. I'll notify the winners by e-mail if they left one, otherwise I'll post the winning names on the site and if you're one of them you'll have to contact me at erikblock@hotmail.com. 7.23.03 - laterGot pictures up on the merch page today. As with the other pictures, they are huge. That is because I can't figure out how to resize the pictures from my camera. I'll have Jon help me--he knows all about that sort of thing--and then we can hopefully make them a somewhat more manageable size. Come out to the Legion on Friday--should be a good time.
7.23.03Jon just booked us a show for this Friday (July 25) with Lost For Cause. We don't know the time and stuff yet, but 9:00 is often a good guess. Also, we will be playing August 2nd at The Rock. I'm going to buy some screen printing supplies and start making patches. And eventually shirts, when the ones we order run out. Just thought I'd let you know that, because I'm kind of excited about it.
7.22.03Take a look at the pictures page--we've got a few shots up from the show at ralph's on Saturday. Harwood last nite was a good time. Thanks to Allergic to Bullshit and John Denver's Airplane for coming all the way from California and Florida respectively to play. I've probably mentioned this already, but we have the stickers and buttons now, and t-shirts will ship out near the end of the month. I'll try to get pictures of the merch up on the merch page soon, too.

Just e-mail me yours and its as simple as that. or, you can write us a letter and spray it with sexy perfume. that would be nice...that would be nice... We have many shows up and coming, I hope to see you there, and, wear that perfume that I like.

7.16.03We're going to be playing with Neverwill and one other band that I can't remember at Ralph's this Saturday, July 19. I just found out yesterday. It should be fun. Everyone should come. There will be cheap beer. Really cheap. Like....$3 for a pitcher. I'm not even making that up. LOTS of shows coming up--check the shows page.
7.14.03It looks like the hXc alliance show, originally scheduled for August 2, has been moved to August 11. I still don't have all the info on that one, but as always, keep checking the shows page for updates. I received word on several other possible upcoming shows, including one on July 26 at the All Star Bowl--oh, and the July 29 show with 20secbomb that has been shifted to every VFW in town only to be moved elsewhere, may have found a home at--brace yourselves--The Rock! This place is now a teenage dance club and they are apparently interested in beginning to hold all ages shows there, which would be very cool. Also...we now have a link to some mp3s on the main page, so if you haven't heard our music yet (or even if you have) be sure to click on the "sounds" link. We don't have a pretty button up for it yet, like the other links, but we'll get one. See, I have to get Jon to design the button for me. I don't make the stuff--I just put it on the page. Jon is the design expert. If you listen to the mp3s and like what you hear, you can order the CD straight from us. Check out the merch page for more info on that. Oh....and the stickers and buttons have arrived. Still waiting on the t-shirts--there was a problem that is causing a small delay but we should have them in a couple of weeks at the most. Hopefully sooner.
7.11.03Hey, everybody. THe august 2nd show has been canceled. Or rather....postponed until possibly later in the month. We'll let you know what happens with that. I hope to see everybody at the July 21 show at the Harwood Hideout. It's gonna be a humdinger. Sorry. I shouldn't have said that.
7.05.03 this is Jon. this is also the first time I've added anything to the "news" section. it's funny....i suppose. I have nothing to say really. Only that Erik and I are currently working on "The Erik and Jon Frienship Song" which, I don't think will ever permeate any one of our set lists.....but it'll be a great party favor. We do it for the love. We also have the skeletons for two new songs...both very different. both very exciting. Ortonville will be a blast...I hope you will let our music into your ears there...everybody says that you're the guy. I anticipate that show will have much energy. I also typed up the lyrics to "Good Grievances" and "the Progress"....well, most of them anyway. There are a few lines dale sings that I've never been able to absorb over my screams and whines.

7.02.03Alright. We have ANOTHER problem. The Moorhead VFW pulled out on the July 29th show (and then shot it all over its stomach--little joke for ya there), so we need a new venue. If you know of someplace (besides All Star and Fargo VFW) to have an ALL AGES show, get ahold of me at erikblock@hotmail.com or Bill at twentysecondbomb@hotmail.com. THis is gonna be a great show....as long as we have a venue. Let's get together and pull through on this one, folks. Anybody have a basement or barn or something cool like that? We need to bring back basement shows. OH...thanks to everyone who's been entering the contest. Keep the entries coming. I don't know when we'll draw yet (we'll have to wait until we actually have the merch, for one thing), but I'd like to wait until there are quite a few entries.
