~ Our House Concert ~
Saturday, November 9, 2002an evening of music, friends and food
A capacity crowd (well, for a house concert) enjoyed the antics and articulations of the members of Let's Do It, singing a wide selection from their repertoire. The song sets even included two ukuleles and a hula performance by none other than the male contingent, complete with coconuts! Fabulous entertainment and joy, and a little raucousness :) The repertoire choice showcased a myriad of styles such as barbershop, ballad, bawdy, baroque ... and that's only the Bs! A nice variety was enjoyed by the crowd, climaxing in a rousing reception and an enthusiastic ovation. Be sure to join us for the next performance at the New Spirit Church in Berkeley!

San Francisco, CA -- GALA Choruses
Bay Area Member Chorus Fundraiser Festival
|
Let's Do It! was recently featured in a GALA Choruses fundraiser in San Francisco and was received by a THUNDEROUS spontaneous and enthusiastic standing ovation! They were the outstanding hit of the evening. The event raised money for national association of choruses, and included members of over 15 local area choruses. Let's Doi It! was featured in this action picture which was published in the San Francisco Chronicle reviewing the event. |

May 2002
Seattle, WA -- 2002 GALA Choruses
Western Regional Festival
|
Prior to that fabulous gig, they made their auspicious concert debut at Seattle's Benaroya Concert Hall as part of the Western Regional GALA choruses festival, as well as an exhibition beneath the famed Space Needle as part of Seattle's renowned Folk Festival. Both performances were well-received and went remarkably well despite the jitters of a first public performance in front of a huge crowd. Let's Do It! also took part in a Master Class given by Eric Lane Barnes as part of the festival. The class featured several small groups of festival participants to showcase small ensemble dynamics and theatrics. |
