The Virus formed in February 1998, and played their first show a month later! The Virus' first release came when they did a split with Manix on February 1999. Then their first 7" came out entitled "Global Crisis" in October 1999. One of their most popular songs "Still Fighting For A Future" was put on the "Punx Unite 2" compilation CD in March 2000. In June 2000, their second album "Still Fighting For A Future", the band's best work to date, was released. In October 2001, the albums "Singles and Rareities" was released. In November 2001, the S/T Picture Disc 7" was released. In November 2001, Thre Virus and Septic Tank made a split casette. In May 2002, "Nowhere To Hide" the bands newest cd was released. The future plans for the band is to released "Benefits Of War" by the summer of 2003.
