March 14th, 1982 - Metallica's first show ever!

July 6th 1982 - No Life Till Leather Demo is recorded.

December 28th, 1982 - Metallica jam with Cliff Burton for the first time.

April 14th, 1983 - Kirk Hammett quits Exodus to join Metallica

July 1983 - Kill Em All is released and tour with Raven.

Metallica write material for Ride The Lightning from October to December 1983.

June 1984 - Ride The Lightning is released, then it's back on the road for touring.

March 1986- Master of Puppets is released, followed by more touring with Ozzy.

September 27th 1986 - Cliff Burton dies in a bus accident.

October 28th, 1986- Jason Newstead replaces Burton on bass.

August 10th, 1987- Garage Days Re-Visted is released.

August 25th, 1988- ...Andd Justice For All is released.

Metallica begin to make music videos (ONE) and start recieving awards for best Heavy Metal groups and preformancces.

August 12th, 1991-The Black Album is released and would be the end of Metallica's heavy days.

For five years, Metallica are on the road touring, writing new material, winning awards and making music videos.

June, 6th, 1996 - Load is released and debuts at #1!!!

Metallica make a shit load of videos and a little less touring and more publicity then ever!

October 6th, 1997 - Reload is released and also debuts at number #1!!!

November 1998 - Garage Inc. is released...Cover album of NWOBHM bands.

April 21st and 22nd, 1999 - Metallica Preform with The San Fransisco Symphony

April 13th, 2000 - The whole Napster .vs. Metallica Thing Begins

Jubne 26th, 2000 - "I Disappear" single is released for Mission Impossible II

January 17th, 2001- Jason Newstead quits Metallica.

Fevruary 24th, 2003 - Rob Trujillo (Suicidal Tendancie) joins Metallica on bass

June 10th, 2003 - The Much Anticipated 8th Studio Album, "ST ANGER" is released!
