Hi, my name is Daniel Kovacic. I am the Director of Music Ministries at the Brownsville Catholic Partner Parishes as well as principle organist for all liturgies. I am currently studying music education and sacred music at Seton Hill University, Greensburg, PA. Main instruments include voice and organ with minor in piano.
I am currently a member of the Greensburg Diocesan Choir, Diocesan Cantor, National Pastoral Musicians (NPM), American Guild of Organists (AGO), and Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association (PMTA). I shall receive my Basic Cantor Certification and Organ Service Playing Examination certificates in the year of 2005. I hope I can make your wedding memorable and worthwhile.
For my services, here are the procedures to go along with planning your wedding. Any questions are acceptable.
I ask all couples to give me a contact notice of your wedding date so that all preparations may be made. The time I ask to give is between six months and one year. My stipend is $75.00 minimal. If you are having a separate soloist or instrumentalist, there is a rehearsal fee of $25.00. This is totally up to you to decide if you want your musicians to rehearse, but is not mandatory.
When selecting music, various pieces may include such styles as Classical and Baroque including Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach. We will not accept music from any broadway show. Modern secular music such as slow love songs heard on the radio will not be acceptable unless signifying directly that Christ is the center of the message.
Please note that if I do not have a piece in my repertoire that you would want at your wedding, you must purchase and provide the piece to myself and other musicians serving in your wedding. After the wedding, music becomes property of my library.
If you would like one of my services and not the other, please designate as early as possible. Being enrolled in Seton Hill University enables me to have contacts with solists and instrumentalists. If you would like to add additional musicians to your wedding, let me know if you want an extra soloist or instrumentalist. I will give you contact information to get in contact with them. Although, you must make a separate agreement on their stipend.
