Kelly Clarkson was America’s "Idol" winner at last year’s competition. She wowed audiences week after week with her exceptional vocal renditions of well-known songs from various eras.

One of the songs written for "American Idol" was "A Moment Like This". After winning the competition, Kelly released the song, and it shot from No. 52 on the "Billboards" charts to No. 1 in just one week, beating a record of "biggest leap" set by the Beatles in 1964. Unbelievable!

Today, Kelly has just completed work on a movie musical titled "From Justin to Kelly", which co-stars last year’s runner up on "American Idol", Justin Guarini, and is scheduled to be in theaters on June 13.  She is also released her first CD, "Thankful", which has already gone platinum in just 5 weeks.

She’s an all-around talent who shows modesty and kindness. We’re going to see big things from Kelly, and she will be around for a long time to come.
